I’m a novelist and nonfiction writer and a 2025-2026 Cullman Fellow at the New York Public Library. My latest book, Another Bone-Swapping Event, came out on Astra House last November. The Bathysphere Book: Effects of the Luminous Ocean Depths (Astra House 2023) won the National Book Foundation’s Science and Literature Award, and To Remain Nameless (Rescue Press 2020) was a staff pick at The Paris Review and The Millions and a finalist for the Big Other fiction award.
